Kevin founded MCA in 2019 to provide Product Management and Actuarial capabilities to small to mid-sized carriers. MCA now works with over 70 P&C carriers. Before MCA, Kevin led a diverse set of businesses at The Hartford from Small Commercial Product Management to E&S to National Accounts. Kevin began his career at Liberty Mutual where he achieved both his FCAS and MAAA.

Ray has more than 40 years of experience leading and innovating across both Personal and Commercial Lines. He pioneered advanced Product Management and automated decision-making in The Hartford’s Small Commercial insurance, delivering industry-leading performance. He has a passion for driving success in enabling knowledge workers with data and technology.
SEAN MEEHAN
Founder and Chief Product Officer
Sean brings over 20 years of experience leading Product Management and analytics across Personal and Commercial Lines. He has driven profitable growth through data-driven strategies, pricing, and execution. He has built and scaled analytics infrastructure supporting underwriting, pricing, and product teams at leading carriers. Sean holds a Master’s in Data Science and an MBS in Finance.
REUBEN VANDEVENTER
Head of Applied AI
Reuben is a serial entrepreneur and architect of advanced learning systems, with over 20 patents in the Insurtech space. He specializes in autonomous data discovery, universal entity resolution, and high-dimensional information systems. He brings deep expertise in building proprietary AI systems designed for regulated environments, ensuring transparency, consistency, and trust.

Started by Ray and Kevin in November 2019, MCA is a
professional services firm that provides Actuarial and Product
Management expertise to small to mid- sized carriers. The
team prides itself on turning insights from data and analytics
into practical solutions that allow carriers to profitably grow.
By working with 70+ carriers plus leading some of the most
advanced Product Management organizations themselves, the
marketplace need for Tessera was identified. PM’s deserved a
platform that would enable them to focus on the highest value
work that they needed to do to drive the P/L of Personal and
Small to Mid-Size Businesses (SMB).
